Entry 4 "quote"

"Do you think she'll ever wake up? It's been three days already."
     "You have to give her time. Demon poison is strong stuff, and she's a mundane. She hasn't got runes to keep her strong like we do."
     "Mundies die awfully easy, dont they?"
     "Isabelle, you know it's bad luck to talk about death in a sickroom."

Three days, Clary thought slowly. All her thoughts ras as thickly and slowly as blood or honey. I have to wake up.
But she couldn't.
The dreams held her, one after the other, a river of images that bore her along like a leaf tossed in a current.

This scene is describing Clary after she is vicously attacked by a ravener demon.

Entry 3 conflict

"Well Simon, I think I am being stalked."
"What does that mean?"
"I mean, when I left the cafe I saw someone that we saw at the party, and now he is on the other side of the room."
"Here, let me take care of him."
"Simon! No, dont! Listen he is a lot stronger than you just dont bother."
"Ok, but if he hurts you, I'm going to hurt him."
"So what exactly happened when you left the cafe."
"Well I left and I saw him so i went to talk to him and he said 'I have been looking for you'."
"Thats not good."
"No, its not, but i have to go my mom is proboally worried sick about me."
"Ok bye. Be safe now."
This conflict is describing how Clary thought she was being stalked after Pandimonium.

The setting starts off at a party called pandemonium. Clary sees some mysterious people with a knife and she decides to follow them. The mysterious people coner a younng man and kill him. They spot Clary and start questioning her. Apparently the boy they killed was a demon and they are shadowhunters. Clary manages to escape and return home. This book is a very good book that makes you want to keep reading.

Author Biography

Cassandra Clare is the author of City of Bones and three other books called City of Ashes, City of Glass, and Clockwork Angel. She is afairly new Authour, her first book was published in 2007. She was born in Iran, She traveled through manyplaces, like the Himalayas and she spent high school in Los Angeles, California. Since she moved a lot, she had a huge variety of different books to look at for inspiration. She has worked in different writing jobs such as magazines. She is a very experienced author.
